    *                  Balancer users                              *

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When the goStandby script is *
    * configured, it will be executed more *
    * than once when the Load Balancer is *
    * in the standby state. *
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    The load balancer allows users to configure 'go' scripts such
    that the script is invoked when the load balancer changes high
    availability states. The goStandby script will be invoked
    more than once when the load balancer is in standby mode.

Problem conclusion

  • The load balancer code which invokes the go scripts did not
    define the high availability states in the same manner as the
    code which detects state changes. When the load balancer is
    in standby mode, the code which invokes the go scripts may
    falsely detect a state change because of the different state
    definitions. Code has been corrected to define the states
    consistently in the load balancer code.
