Error description

  • When an inactive IMSID is specified in the IMSID= parameter,
message MSGDFS690A is displayed as follows:
DFS690A job.step.proc-CTL PGM NOT ACTIVE, REPLY 'WAIT',
'CANCEL' OR 'ALT-ID'
If answered with a CANCEL, an ABENDU0688 is eminent.

Currently you can only specify an active IMS in the IMSID=
parameter to execute BMP's.  This APAR will correct that.
