APAR status

Error description

• DB2 Admin Tool. The MAKEPBR command generates a SYSREC DD
  when the REORG has NOSYSREC coded.
  
  When using MAKEPBR to convert an index-controlled partitioned
  tablespace to UTS PBR, you must first convert to
  table-controlled partitioning.
  
  These two alters are done (as recommended by DB2 z/OS)
  
  ALTER INDEX <index-name>        NOT CLUSTER;
  ALTER INDEX <index-name>        CLUSTER;
  
  After this, when the MAKEPBR command is issued, the REORG
  JCL allocates a SYSREC DD while at the same time the
  REORG statement shows NOSYSREC.

  included in the JCL
  even if the user selects NOSYSREC for REORG TABLESPACE.
  
  The issue also occurs with the following options from
  the Table Space Utilities Panel:
  1. O - Reorg
  2. OO - Online reorg
  3. OC - Reorg with Inline Copy
  

Problem conclusion

• The problems have been resolved.
