PH36785: ORF JOB CAN FAIL WITH HRF01548E WHEN DATA IS ATTEMPTED TO BE INSERTED AFTER ORF STOPPED THE DATABASE

Error description

• When an application attempts to insert data into a database
  after ORF stopped the database, the ORF capture can send a
  change record for the insert call to the ORF job without sending
  the corresponding 'rollback' record, which causes the job to
  fail with the following error:
    HRF01548E Change capture terminated with inflight changes

  When an application attempts to insert data into a database
  after ORF stopped the database, the ORF capture can send a
  change record for the insert call to the ORF job without
  sending the corresponding 'rollback' record, which causes the
  job to fail with the following error:
  HRF01548E Change capture terminated with inflight changes
  
  This APAR also fixes an inefficiency in the logic to wait for
  the type-21 log record in the logger exit routine.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed so that the ORF capture sends a change
  record after the type-50 log record is observed. So unnecessary
  change record will not be sent to the ORF job.
