PH36711: INCORRECT DATA FOR LOB UNLOADED IN SQL MODE INTO SPANNED DATASET

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• (HPU 5.1 only) The output field for a LOB data unload is
  incorrect (the first 65511 of the output field are correct, the
  rest of the field is filled in with duplicates of the first
  65511 bytes)..
  This occurs if all the following conditions are fulfilled:
  - the SPANNED YES option is specified
  - the unload is run in SQL mode
  - the LOB length in bytes is greater than 65510
  - the setting for the VUU041/ULOCSIZE parmlib parameter is
  greater than 65510
  

Local fix

• set VUU041/ULOCSIZE to a value less or equal to 65510 or, if
  applicable, run the unload in native mode.
