APAR status

Error description

  • OpenPages 8.2
    
    1.	Log in as OpenPagesAdministrator
    2.	Create the Business Entity (BE)
    a.	Navigate to Organization -> Business Entities
    i.	Click on the Add New button
    ii.	Enter a name for ex. ?Test BE001? and click Save
                       From TFUI -
    b.	Create the File
    i.	Navigate to Attachment -> Files
    ii.	Click on ?Add New?
    iii.	Fill in the required fields
    iv.	Attach any file
    v.	Select the BE created 2a above
    vi.	Click ?Save?
    c.	Make the file as Check out
    i.	Change to Standard UI
    ii.	Navigate to My OpenPages -> Files
    iii.	Select the file created above 2b
    iv.	Click Actions, Select Check out this File from drop down
    
    
    
    
    
    Steps to Reproduce:
    
    1.	Change to TFUI
    2.	Navigate to Attachment -> Files
    3.	It shows the list of attached files.
    4.	A check mark is displayed next to the filename, it shows the
    file is checkout state.
    
    
    5.	Click the File Name
    6.	Update any field, for ex, Description.
    7.	Then Below Version list, Click Update
    8.	Attach the same file and Give the version, then click Upload
    9.	Click Save
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    Expected Results:
    
      User can able to update any field on the attached files and
    new version can upload.
    
    Actual Results:
    
     User unable to update any field on the attached files and
    unable to upload new version.
    
    Error Message:
     UWXJ4CQW4NEA - OP-00020  The object "Export-Test_Result-70119"
    has been recently updated by another user. Please refresh the
    object before making changes to it.

Problem conclusion

  • We made a number of changes to correct this.
    
    Customers should download OpenPages 8.2.0.2 Interim Fix 1 from
    Passport Advantage. See the following document for details on
    obtaining OpenPages 8.2.0.2 Interim Fix 1:

    This is now corrected in the OpenPages 8.2.0.2 Interim Fix 1 and
    will also be fixed in our next fixpack.
