Error description

  • Based on the following documentation:
    On the Design tab, if you choose no color (the white cell), the
    value renders as gray.

    If you choose no color (the white cell) for an integer field, it
    renders as transparent and not gray as described on the
    documentation.
    
    Other field types like enumeration or currency honor the
    documentation.
    
    Prerequisites:
    
    1. Create an Integer Data Type Field (we will use SOXIssue in
    this example but any Object can be used)
    a. Log into OpenPages as the Administrator
    b. Navigate to Administration -> Field Groups
    c. Click on <OPSS-Iss>
    d. Click Add
    e. Give the field a Name and select <Integer> from the Data Type
    Drop Down
    g. Enable System Admin Mode
    h. Click <Create>
    i. Disable System Admin Mode
    2. Add the New Field to the Profile and Detail View
    a. Check to see what Profile OpenPagesAdministrator is assigned
    to by clicking on System Administrator > OpenPagesAdministrator
    -> My Settings -> Make note of the <Profile>
    b. Go to Administration -> Profiles
    c. Click on the Profile Name obtained in step 2a
    d. Click on <SOXIssue> under Object Types
    e. Under <Object Fields> click on Include
    f. Select your new field created in step 1 -> Click Include
    g. Under Object Views, click on Detail
    h. Click on <Choose Fields>
    i. Select your newly created field -> Click Apply
    j. Click Save
    
    3. Create a View for Issue
    a. Go to gear icon -> Solution Configuration - >Views
    b. Add New, Select the ?Use as default view?
    c. Select Object Type as ?Issue?
    d. Give a Name to the view as
    ?Test-View-Integer-background-Color?.
    e. Drag and Drop a Grid, Inside Grid Drag and drop a Columns.
    f. Drag and Drop the Integer field which created on 1.
    g. Double click the Integer field.
    
    
    
    
    Steps to Reproduce:
    
    Create a new Business Entity
    a. Navigate to Organization -> Business Entities
    b. Click the add new button
    c. Fill in required fields -> Click Create
    d. Click on the newly created Business Entity to see its Detail
    Page
    2. Create an Issue
    a. Navigate to Remeditation -> Issues
    b. Actions -> Add a new issue
    c. Fill in the required field -> Click Save
    3. Please notice the background of the Integer is transparent
    and not gray.
