  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1. Data in Db2 for z/OS needs to be     *

  *                         ingestion.                           *

  *                           cannot be collected due to         *
  *                           incorrect record sequence.         *

  1. In order for ELK or Splunk to ingest data from Db2 for z/OS,
     the data must be streamed in a suitable format, from Db2 for
     z/OS to the location where the data is to be processed.
  2. When the number of processors in an LPAR causes a segment of
     the split SMF 70 record to exceed 32K, RMF uses an alternate
     algorithm to split the record. The alternate split algorithm
     may generate segments without CPU data. The Collector expects
     all segments of a split SMF 70 record to contain CPU data.

• IBM Z Performance and Capacity Analytics is enhanced to:
  
  1) Provide the DataImporter to stream data from Db2 for z/OS.
     The DataImporter runs off platform and imports the Db2 data
     in the required JSON format from the host z/OS Db2 database.
  2) Process split SMF 70 records that contain no CPU data in any
     of the segments.
