APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The REF ? Issuer Assigned Qualified Health Plan Identifier REF01
= TY can be in both the header and 21000 Loop. The header type
5 edit is 58415 and the 2100 type 5 edit is 58417.
Edit 58415 is setting when there is no header REF segment at the
same position in the transactions that is the REF segment for
the 2100 loop.

Problem Description:

Type 5 820 X306 Edit 58415 is setting when there is no header
REF segment at the same position in the transactions that is the
 REF segment for the 2100 loop.

Platforms affected:
ALL

Problem conclusion

  • hcsvu exit updated to properly report Type 5 errors when a
segment being checked could occur in both the header section of
transaction and another loop.

Applies to:
Healthcare Payer 9.0.2, 10.0

Fixed in the next Service Pack and releases.
