APAR status

Error description

  • When using option H or Q on panel ADB21, and then using the GEN
line command (not DDL) directly on a sequence, the user inputs
on panel ADB2GENB are not propagated to the generated JCL
(when using the batch option), or are ignored (when using the
TSO option).  As a result, GEN does not produce the CREATE or
GRANT statement for the sequence or sequence alias.  GEN may
also not process a GRANT statement for a schema as well.

*                      sequence and sequence alias-related     *
*                      options.                                *

When issuing the GEN command on a sequence or sequence alias,
the values for the following options are not used by GEN in
either BATCH or TSO execution mode:

CREATE SEQUENCE
CREATE ALIAS FOR SEQ
GRANT access ON SCHEMA
GRANT access ON SEQUENCE
