Error description

• An application installed into a Liberty JVM server fails with
  the following error:
  
  Unresolved requirement: Import-Package: com.ibm.db2.jcc.licenses

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: org.osgi.framework.BundleException:     *
  *                      Could not resolve module: application   *
  *                      Unresolved requirement: Import-Package: *
  *                      com.ibm.db2.jcc.licenses;               *
  *                      when enabling a BUNDLE resource.        *
  ****************************************************************
  Following the removal of the JDBC wrapper bundle, applications
  that import this package will not be installable into the OSGi
  framework.
  

Problem conclusion

• Applications should not require an import for the
  com.ibm.db2.jcc.licenses package.
  It is recommended that the application manifests are changed and
  the applications are redeployed.
  
  For backward compatibility, a dummy export of the package is
  provided to allow existing applications to be enabled as-is.
  
  The licenses package is only being exported for backwards
  compatibility and this may be removed in a future release.
