Error description

• Running a Cross System Work report, you receive an abends0c4
  in module CPALSXMF + x'1FEA'.
  Just prior to the abend, the following messages were generated.
  CPA0230I Dictionary Record default is being used, APPLID=applid
  , Release= 6.9.0
  CPA0359W Connector ID X'0177' not mapped by Performance
  Dictionary record   from module CPADICM_/CPAPRSMF
  Field ID=User field , APPLID=applid  , Release= 6.9.0  from
  module CPADICM_/CPAPRSMF
  CPA0311E Field ID field  is not defined to Dictionary -
  field ignored  from module CPALSXMF/CPALSXMF
  CPA0329E Dictionary returned error on Field ID field  from
  module CPALSXMF/UOWPA
  The abend is due to the field area being too short to
  accommodate a user field longer the 256 bytes.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Abend0C4 in CPALSXMF when specifying a  *
  *                      User Field longer than 256 bytes.       *
  ****************************************************************
  An S0C4 abend can occur in module CPALSXMF +x'1FEA' or +x'2216'
  when a user field longer than 256 bytes in specified in the
  FIELDS operand.
  The 0C4 abend is due to the field area length being defined as
  256 bytes, causing storage to be overwritten when a field that
  is longer than 256 bytes is moved into it.
  

Problem conclusion

• This APAR increases the field area length to be the user field
  maximum length of 8192 bytes.
