Error description

• This APAR will enhance QMF for TSO and CICS to so that the
  CURRENT ACCELERATOR special register may be SET through the
  SQL query panel.  Prior to this fix, when the 
  SET CURRENT ACCELERATOR = IDAAS01 statement is run, the user
  will receive MSGDSQ20990 SQL statement beginning with SET
  cannot be processed.

  *                      in QMF for TSO/CICS for the DB2         *
  *                      for z/OS special register               *
  *                      CURRENT ACCELERATOR. This special       *
  *                      register was originally available       *
  *                      in Db2 for z/OS V11.  Currently,        *
  *                      when a user attempts to set this        *
  *                      special register from the QMF query     *
  *                      panel, they will receive MSGDSQ20990    *
  *                      DSQ20990 'SQL statement beginning       *
  *                      with SET cannot be processed.'          *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Users may now issue the SET CURRENT ACCELERATOR
  statement from the QMF for TSO/CICS SQL query
  panel.
  
  Message DSQ17107 is updated to add ACCELERATOR
  name length restriction:
  
  Accelerator names cannot be more than 8 bytes.
