  • When a view is renamed using ALT, the required
grant statements are not generated.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Using ALT to rename views does not      *
*                      propagate grants to the renamed view.   *
****************************************************************
As Db2 does not support RENAME VIEW statements, renaming views
by using the ALT command does not propagate grants to the
renamed view when dropping the old view and creating the new
view. The solution is to add support for a REN (Rename) line
command for views.
