Error description
GOC - Add a field to the "Options for Change Functions" panel to generate DATACHANGED option for IDAA
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: Users of the Db2 Administration Tool and * * IDAA. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1) Users do not have a way to control * * the detectChanges option that is passed * * to the IDAA stored procedure * * SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES. * * * * This APAR provides an enhancement to * * specify the detectChanges option. * * * * 2) CMBATCH allows incompatible IDAA * * options to be specified. * **************************************************************** 1) Users cannot control the IDAA option detectChanges by using ADMIN ACCELERATOR LOAD statements in Db2 Admin Tool. Admin Tool always sends 'DATA' for this field when calling the SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES stored procedure. This APAR provides an enhancement to specify the detectChanges option. Panel ADB2PCO, "Options for Change Functions," has been updated with the new field "Load accelerated tables DETECTCHANGES." This field is described in the help panel: Specifies the value of detectChanges for the SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES procedure for accelerated tables. Possible values are: DATA, PARTITIONS, or NONE. DATA is the default value. For a description of DATA and PARTITIONS, see the information about SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES in the Db2 Analytics Accelerator for z/OS documentation. NONE indicates that detectChanges is not used when calling SYSPROC.ACCEL_LOAD_TABLES. CMBATCH has also been enhanced to support the new option load_accelerated_tables_detect_changes,which accepts the same values. 2) Additionally, when using IDAA related options in CMBATCH, mutually exclusive values were allowed, causing some changes to fail when applied later. CM Batch now checks the values of IDAA related options, similar to panel ADB2PCO. The following rules are enforced: If either enable_accelerated_tables or replicate_accelerated_tables is set to YES, then reload_accelerated_tables must also be YES. If reload_accelerated_tables is set to YES, recreate_accelerated_tables must also be YES. These options default to YES when not specified, so if either reload_accelerated_tables or recreate_accelerated_tables is to NO by the user, the related options must explicitly be set to NO as well, otherwise CMBATCH will issue an error, for example: ADB9969E ADBCCM The enable_accelerated_tables action parameter is enabled. This action parameter is conflict with at least one other parameter that is enabled. ADB9730I ADBCCM The following are the values for the action parameters: reload_accelerated_tables = 'N'
