PH33072: MISLEADING/UNDOCUMENTED MESSAGES WHEN DYNAMIC ALLOCATION OF SYSPRINT DATASET FOR THE QUIESCE UTILITY FAILS

Error description

• Db2 HPU stops with completion code of 8 after
  having issued the following irrelevant thus misleading messages
  in the SYSPRINT dataset :
    INZI169E ERROR WHEN OPENING SYSIN
    INZI191E ERROR WHEN TRYING TO QUIESCE THE TABLESPACE
  dbname.tsname
  and the following unexpected and undocumented message in the
  SYS00001 SYSOUT dataset:
    dynalloc rc = 'rc' errcode = 'reason'
  This occurs when the following conditions are fulfilled:
  - the unload is processed in native mode
  - the QUIESCE of the tablespace is requested (either implicitly
  or explicitly)
  - an error occurred during the allocation of the temporary
  dataset used by DSNUTILB as SYSPRINT to process the QUIESCE
  utility
  

Local fix

• none as there is no way to get more relevant messages, but make
  sure that the setting of the unit used by Db2 HPU to dynamically
  allocate the temporary SYSPRINT dataset for DSNUTILB is correct.
  This unit is given by either the WRKUNIT or its alias SORTDEVT
  option or, if none of these options is specified, by the
  VUM013/WRKUNIT parmlib parameter.
