APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • If a same package is loaded by the classloader and its parent
classloader, WSVR0332I could be written incorrectly. For
example, if a class aaa.bbb.ccc.Hello class is loaded by the
application classloader, then, aaa.bbb.ccc.Hello2 class is
loaded by the war module classloader, WSVR0332I can happen.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Excessive WSVR0332I messages appear in *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
When WAS detects that its class loader has attempted to define a
package that has already been defined by the JVM, it issues a
WSVR0332I message indicating the situation. With parallel class
loading in use, this scenario is much more likely, and as a
    result
the WSVR0332I messages may be very frequent in some
    environments.
In practice, the duplicate package definition has no negative
effects, and as such the message does not provide useful
    information to the user.

Problem conclusion

  • The WSVR0332I message has been redirected from standard output t
    trace-only output.
