A lot of TRACE IHCUANA1 2020 can be issued in HALDB Analyzer after changing HALDB partition boundary by MAINTAIN etc when NOREORGV is specified in RECON.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM IMS HALDB Toolkit V1.1. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A lot of TRACE IHCUANA1 2020 can be * * issued in HALDB Analyzer after changing * * HALDB partition boundary by MAINTAIN * * etc when NOREORGV is specified in * * RECON. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. * **************************************************************** TRACE IHCUANA1 2020 can be issued when NOREORGV is specified in RECON. The TRACE means invalid ILKs. However invalid ILKs do not immediately indicate the database failure. So code has been changed as follows. - A return code of 4 is set instead of a return code of 8 when invalid ILKs are detected. - When the number of invalid ILKs is more than 100, TRACE IHCUANA1 2020 is skipped to issue. IMS HALDB Toolkit User's Guide has also been changed to add user actions when invalid/duplicate ILKs are detected. In addition, the following fix has been applied in this APAR. - Verify ILK phase is processed even if VERIFYILK(Y) is not specified. Code has been changed not to process Verify ILK phase when VERIFYILK(Y) is not specified. ======================== = DOCUMENTATION CHANGE = ======================== The following documentations are changed. Problem conclusion
Code has been changed to set correct return code and not to issue TRACE IHCUANA1 2020 when more than 100 invalid ILKs are detected.
