APAR status
Closed as program error.
Error description
1) From Remote Systems view, Create a Filter in MVS-Files (e.g. <userid>.BUG.*) 2) Go to windows explorer and select a file without extension (e.g. "TEST") containing only a few characters 3) Copy the file (CTRL-C or select copy from context menu) 4) Right click on previously created filter, select paste With RDz 9.5.x, the suggested Name for the resource was <userid>.BUG.TEST but now it is only <userid>TEST. This is not the expected behavior, but the name is still editable and can be changed into <userid>.BUG.TEST and the file will be copied successfully. BUT repeating the same steps (copy ... paste) and editing the dataset name again to <userid>.BUG.TEST the result in the dialog "Rename Resource" is an error message "Name in use" but the overwrite checkbox is greyed out. This way it is not possible to replace the existing file with the same workflow.
Local fix
Problem summary
Copying and pasting a local resource into a RSE MVS filter results in an inadequate name proposal
Problem conclusion
Unlike earlier versions of IDz/RDz, the proposed name for the target resource is not including the full target filter path
Temporary fix
