APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It may observed that the IBM Transformation Extender execution
engine may crash when executing a map that has been compiled
using a type tree that was imported from an XSD.

When the input XML file is then validated, Design Studio
may give a warning - 'No grammar constraints (DTD or
XML Schema) referenced in the document.'

Problem summary

  • Users Affected:
IBM Transformation Extender users using Xerces XML type tree.

Problem Description:
Map hang / crash in module dtxxmlparser when parsing an XML
document and a parent and child have the same XML tag name.

Platforms Affected:
All

Problem conclusion

  • Correct condition to call to find function when child and parent
have the same name.

Applies to:
9.0.0.4, 10.0.0.0, 10.0.3.0, 10.1.0.0

Fixed in the next service packs and releases.
