PH32206: RATE GENERATOR IN COMPOUND TEST IS NOT EXECUTED

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A customer added a Rate Generator to a compound test to control
  the iteration rate of a portion of the compound test.  When the
  compound test was executed, the test within the Rate Generator
  was not run while the tests before and after the Rate Generator
  were run as expected.  No errors or warnings were shown in the
  Test Log.
  
  For example, for a compound test containing:
  
    FirstTest
    Rate Generator (3 iterations) RateGen1
      MiddleTest
    LastTest
  
  the execution will run FirstTest and LastTest but not
  MiddleTest.
  

Local fix

• Use a VU schedule instead of a Compound Test.
