  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: In some rare situations, ABO optimized  *
  *                      modules may abend with message          *
  *                      'Assertion failed' from TRTypes.cpp or  *
  *                      TypeReduction.cpp, reported in the      *
  *                      OPTLOG output. This abend is more       *
  *                      likely to occur on modules compiled     *
  *                      from source containing MOVE or COMPUTE  *
  *                      statements on data items declared with  *
  *                      sign leading or trailing separate       *
  *                      clauses.                                *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply provided service.                      *

  ABO was modified to successfully optimize these types of input
  modules.
  

Problem conclusion

• ABO no longer abends when optimizing these types of input
  modules.
