PH32005: JVMSERVER WARNING MESSAGES NOT WRITTEN TO JVMLOG

APAR status

Error description

• Warning messages issued by a JVMSERVER may not be written to
  the JVMLOG file.

Problem summary

  * USERS AFFECTED: All CICS users.                              *

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: JVMSERVER warnings are missing from     *
  *                      JVMLOG and JVMTRACE.                    *
  ****************************************************************
  A JVMSERVER is enabled and CICS encounters a situation where a
  warning should be issued.  This warning should be written to the
  JVMLOG file, and if SJ level 3 trace is enabled also to the
  JVMTRACE file.
  
  However some warnings may not appear in JVMLOG. They may appear
  in JVMTRACE but as debug entries.
  

Problem conclusion

• CICS has been updated to ensure warnings correctly appear in
  JVMLOG (subject to the LOG_LEVEL JVM profile option) and
  JVMTRACE (subject to the SJ trace level).
