    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    When using round robin distribution with affinity, the web
    server plugin should be set with ignoreAffinityRequest='true'
    but defaults to 'false' which is not the recommended setting.

Problem conclusion

  • Default value corrected to indicate 'true'.

    With ignoreAffinityRequest set to 'true', the plugin module
    will equally distribute non-affinity requests amongst the
    servers based upon the server weight.

    When ignoreAffinityRequests is set to 'false', all the
    non-affinity may be sent to a single server and distribution
    may be very disproportional at given times.

    Examine your plugin-cfg.xml configuration file to ensure
    ignoreAffinityRequests is not set to false. The default value
    can be changed without applying maintenance by adding the
    custom property ignoreAffinityRequests as a web server plugin
    custom property and set the property to true. Regenerate and
    distribute the plugin configuration after altering this
    property.
