PH31552: DDL/GEN OUTPUT OF TABLE MISSING 'IN DATABASE' CLAUSE FOR DATABASE DSNDB04

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When using DDL or GEN to generate a CREATE TABLE statement,
  the IN DATABASE DSNDB04 clause is missing for these situations:
  
  1) Table originally created with IN DATABASE DSNDB04
  2) Table originally created with IN DATABASE >database< in
  conjunction with one of the following:
     a) NEWDB option set to DSNDB04
     b) Database name is masked to DSNDB04
  
  As a result, the table will be created in an implicit database,
  and not in database DSNDB04.

  When generating a CREATE TABLE statement, the IN DATABASE
  DSNDB04 clause is missing for the following situations:
  
  1) The table was originally created with IN DATABASE DSNDB04
  2) The table was created with IN DATABASE MYDB, where MYDB is an
     explicitly created database, and one of the following
     conditions is also true:
     a) The NEWDB option in GEN is set to DSNDB04
     b) The database name is masked to DSNDB04
  

Problem conclusion

• The problems have been resolved.
