  • HP Load may be ABEND0C4 if all of the following conditions are
    met:
    - Non-HALDB (HDAM, HIDAM, HISAM)
    - Fixed length segment
    - The length of the DBD definition for that segment is less than
      256
    - Unloaded segment is longer than DBD definition
    - HPIO = YES is specified

    ABEND0C4 may occur when all of the following conditions are met:
    - Non-HALDB (HDAM, HIDAM, HISAM)
    - Fixed length segment
    - The DBD definition for that segment length is less than 256
    - Unloaded segment is longer than the DBD definition
    HP Load uses the unload length when moving a segment to the DB
    buffer, which can destroy subsequent areas.
    

Problem conclusion

  • HP Load has been modified to uses the segment length that is
    defined in DBD when moving a segment to the DB buffer.
