Error description
If a session is active for more than 1 hour, it is never invalidated. This issue occurs when the invalidation timeout is set to 15 minutes or more. This issue can occur if the application is making getHttpSessionById() calls.

Problem conclusion
Code changes were made to correct the session reference counter when getHttpSessionById() method are used. The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.20 and 9.0.5.7.
