  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The compression routines of IMS HP      *
  *                      Image Copy issue FABJ9008E message      *
  *                      ( MSGFABJ9008E ) when the input         *
  *                      database is encrypted OSAM database.    *

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *
  ****************************************************************
  The compression routines of IMS HP Image Copy issue FABJ9008E
  message ( MSGFABJ9008E ) when the input database of image copy
  function is encrypted OSAM database.
  
  Access method of the encrypted OSAM database is VSAM Linear
  Data Set, and its first BITMAP is located in the 2nd CI. Even
  though the compression routines treat it as normal data CI and
  try to fetch FSEAP in the CI.
  

Problem conclusion

• By this maintenance, provided compression routines of IMS HP
  Image Copy do not compress the 2nd CI of the encrypted OSAM
  database data set.
  
  The compressed image copy data set that has been created
  without this maintenance can be expanded by the compression
  routine which is applied this maintenance.
