PH30620: PRINTING A LIST VIEW DOES NOT MATCH THE CONTENT IN THE CUSTOMIZED LIST VIEW IF USING REPEATED FIELDS IN DIFFERENT TABS

APAR status

Error description

  • When we have the same exact field included into more than one
    Form Tab (same field in more than one Form Tab), that causes the
    issue. So, when you uncheck the field placed into a specific
    tab/session but leave the same exact field checked into the
    other different tab/session when customizing the list view, the
    screen results are correct. But if we try to print, we can see
    those fields appearing in all tabs/sessions, despite the fact
    you only want to see into tab/session "A" it will appear in any
    other tabs/sessions where that field was included into the form.
    Also, if we try to provide a different name for the field label
    on form, the problem remains the same.
    
    When printing the List View, it is just simply clicking the
    print icon in the CQ web interface. A window pops up with the
    form to be printed, and that form does not match the List View
    (i.e. the fields that are not supposed to be displayed because
    they appear multiple times, and we only want one instance to be
    displayed).
    
    The customized List View displays correctly in the browser, it
    is only when we want to print the form that the format changes.

Problem conclusion

  • A fix is available in ClearQuest 9.0.1.12, 9.0.2.4 and 9.1.0.1.
    Printing a list view will match the content of the ClearQuest
    Web customized list view.
