PH30332: BND2440W MESSAGES RUNNING PACKAGE CLEANUP PROGRAM ADBBMCL; REDUCE OVERHEAD AND STORAGE NEEDS FOR PROGRAM

Error description

• This APAR addresses two issues that may be encountered when
  running package catalog cleanup program ADBBMCL, which is
  invoked either via line command CL on panel ADB21L
  ('Collections'), or by customizing and running SADBSAMP
  member ADBCLJB:
  
  1) If a load module being scanned is linked with rmode(split) or
  rmode(64), the following message might appear:
  
  BND2440W Load module _modname has invalid format - bypassed
  
  With this APAR applied, this message will be replaced by:
  
  BND2468W Module modname bypassed, unsupported RMODE

  2) Improvements were made in storage usage to reduce
  overhead and prevent potential storage constraints
  associated with the many allocate/free commands generated by
  program ADBBMCL.

  *                      RMODE(64) and RMODE(SPLIT).             *

  Reliability and Serviceability improvements. This APAR improves
  storage usage and error condition handling when RMODE(64)
  or RMODE(SPLIT) is used to link a load module. In this
  situation, the BND2440W message will be replaced with a BND2468W
  message indicating that one of the above RMODEs was used and is
  currently not supported. That is, the following warning message:
  
  "BND2440W Load module _modname has invalid format - bypassed"
  
  will be replaced with
  
  "BND2468W Module modname bypassed, unsupported RMODE.
