Error description

• This APAR excludes ASMAOPT (Assembler option) variable checking
  and data set allocation when performing BUILD JCL with Run IMS
  Utilities of the IMS Administration Tool to support processing
  efficiency.

  * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR.         *

  IMS Administration Tool (Admin Tool) attempts to check ASMAOPT
  (Assembler option) variable and allocate ASMAOPT data set
  even when the data set is not accessed in the Run IMS Utilities
  function.
  If the data set does not exists, Admin Tool detects unnecessary
  dynamic allocation error for ASMAOPT data set.
  

Problem conclusion

• Admin Tool has been modified to remove unnecessary ASMAOPT
  variable check and the ASMAOPT data set allocation in the
  Run IMS Utilities function.
