Error description

  • ABEND0C4 may occur when all of the following conditions are met:
    - Using Load API.
    - Multiple DBPCBs are defined in the PSB and the DBPCB for the
second and subsequent HALDBs as the DBPCB used by HP Load.
    - There are segments with segment edit/compression routine
specified with the INIT option on the first DBPCB and the
      DBPCB for HP Load.
    - The application program issues an ISRT call to the HP Load
      DBPCB first.

ABEND0C4 may occur when all of the following conditions are met:
    - Using Load API.
    - Multiple DBPCBs are defined in the PSB and the DBPCB for the
second and subsequent HALDBs as the DBPCB used by HP Load.
    - There are segments with segment edit/compression routine
specified with the INIT option on the first DBPCB and the
      DBPCB for HP Load.
    - The application program issues an ISRT call to the HP Load
      DBPCB first.
HP Load mistakenly sets the address of the segment
edit/compression routine in the IMS control block for a DBPCB
other than the DBPCB for HP Load.

Problem conclusion

  • HP Load has been modified to sets the address of the segment
edit/compression routine in the IMS control block correctly.
