Error description
Messages DSNL519I and DSNL523I need additional information regarding the kind of server port being activated. Also, an activation message should be produced for the secure port. Message DSNL093I needs additional information which displays the current number of in use DBATs that are actually being used to process client requests. DDF needs new messages(s) that display when DDF is reaching a critical threshold as to the number of in use DBATs.

The following issues are to be addressed: - Db2 does not have a capability to display when the number of active, in-use DBATs are nearing a threshold of the current MAXDBAT value - Db2 does not have a capability to display the current number of active, in-use DBATs - DDF startup messages only display the availability of the main and resync TCP/IP ports of the Db2 subsystem. The availability of the subsystem's SECPORT is not displayed.

Comments
Db2 12 is being changed to provide new and updated messages as follows: - DSNL077I is a new message to display when the current number of active, in-use DBATs have exceed 85% of the current MAXDBAT value - DSNL078I is a new message to display when the current number of active, in-use DBATs no longer exceeds 75% of the current MAXDBAT value - DSNL093I is an existing message, which is one of the messages issued to display the results of the -DISPLAY DDF DETAIL command, is being changed to include the number of active, in-use DBATs (IUDBAT) which is a calculation of the number of disconnected, pooled DBATS (DSCDBAT) subtracted from the current number of active DBATS (ADBAT) Note: DSNL093I does not display if the value of the DSN6FAC CMTSTAT subsystem parameter is ACTIVE. - DSNL519I and DSNL523I are messages issued during DDF startup and are being changed to include the type of TCPIP port (PORT, SECPORT, and RESYNC) being made available. Also, a DSNL519I or DSNL523I will be issued to show the availability of the SECPORT.
