Error description

  • After the fix for PH19393 has been applied, Db2
    HPU can sporadically hang at the very beginning of the step.
    In such a case, the SYSPRINT data set only contains the copy of
    the HPU command and the message
    INZU380I INFORMATION : DEFAULT OUTPUT FORMAT IS SET TO format
    This occurs in very rare situations that cannot be described in
    simple terms and cannot be checked externally.
    

Local fix

  • none but a new run of the job usually completes successfully.
