PH29925: CICS EXPLORER ERROR "GET GROUP: LOCTRAN"

Error description

• A TRANSACTION is installed with a PROFILE that does not exist
  or has not been installed. If the CICS Explorer Local
  Transactions view is aggregated then the view will not render
  with the following error displayed:
  
  An internal error occurred
  during: "Get Group: LOCTRAN". Non-null value was null
  
  The
  messages.log file for the EYUCMCIJ JVM server will
  show:
  
  com.ibm.cics.drake.jcpsm.RecordDecoder$AttributeDecoder
  1 decode Unexpected value decoding attribute SCRNSIZE

  * RECOMMENDATION: After applying the PTF which resolves        *
  *                 PH29925, all CICSPlex SM V5R5M0 or V5R6M0    *
  *                 WUI servers using the EYUCMCIJ JVM server    *
  *                 must be restarted to activate the fix.       *
  *                 The restarts do not need to occur at the     *
  *                 same time.                                   *
  ****************************************************************
  A CICSPlex SM WUI server is processing a CMCI GraphQL
  request for the Local Transaction (LOCTRAN) resource table. The
  request includes the screenSize attribute ( LOCTRAN_SCRNSIZE ).
  The LOCTRAN SCRNSIZE attribute is specified on the PROFILE
  resource linked to the TRANSACTION, but in this instance that
  PROFILE has not been installed into the CICS system. CICS
  returns a CVDA of NOTAPPLIC, but this value is not defined to
  the LOCTRAN resource table. GraphQL is not able to interpret the
  NOTAPPLIC value and generates an error.
  
  An internal error occurred during: "Get Group: LOCTRAN".
      Non-null value was null
  
  com.ibm.cics.drake.jcpsm.RecordDecoder$AttributeDecoder 1 decode
      Unexpected value decoding attribute SCRNSIZE
  
  This error may also occur for the REMTRAN (Remote Transaction)
  resource table ( REMTRAN_SCRNSIZE ).
  

Problem conclusion

• The enumerated options for the SCRNSIZE attribute on the
  LOCTRAN and REMTRAN resource tables have been updated to
  include the NOTAPPLIC value.
  
  The CICS TS for z/OS Knowledge Center will be updated in the
  CICSPlex SM Resource Tables Reference to include NOTAPPLIC
  as a possible value for the SCRNSIZE attribute of the
  LOCTRAN and REMTRAN resource tables.
