    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Customers should not use the *
    *                      pluginroot/etc folder                   *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Customers shouldn't have any of their production files like
    Plugin-cfg.xml or Plugin-key.kdb within the pluginroot/etc
    location. Placing files there risk production outages because
    the plugin install process uses this location during it
    processing. It's possible that production files could get
    overwritten.

Problem conclusion

  • A Warning message has been added to the plugin logging to
    alert customer's to this if it detects that it's loading files
    from this location.

    The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
    9.0.5.7 & 8.5.5.19. For more information, see 'Recommended
