PH29794: ECLIPSELINK IN() EXPRESSION FAILS WITH ORACLE LIMIT

Error description

• Oracle database has a limit of 1000 elements for the length of
  the IN clause. EclipseLink does not honor that limit and
  generates SQL statements that have more than 1000 elements.

  An exception ´ORA-01795´ is thrown on Oracle drivers when the
  IN collection value is passed with a size larger than 1000
  elements.
  

Problem conclusion

• The fix for this APAR changes the EclipseLink implementation
  and involves an update to the thirdparty source. See

  This fix is currently targeted for WebSphere Application
  Server 9.0.5.7 and WebSphere Liberty 20.0.0.12. For more
