Error description
CICS Configuration Manager is enhanced to provide an option to force the delete of CCVDDD Repository definitions that otherwise would fail owing to referential integrity checks. Deletion of the CICS Configuration Manager CCVDDD Repository definitions such as: - CICS Configurations - Migration Schemes - Approval Profiles - Transform Rule Sets - Transform Groups ... are subject to referential integrity checks. If the definition for deletion is referenced by other Repository records, then the delete request fails. To complete the delete, a clean up of the referencing Repository records is required, either by deleting those records or removing the unwanted reference. Sometimes, the referencing records themselves are aged, unused, or inactive, but have been retained for historical reasons. For example, you may want to delete an Approval Profile no longer used, but it is referenced by many change packages that have completed their implementation. The work effort to clean up the old change package records is too excessive. The enhancement provides an option to force the delete, thereby ignoring referential integrity dependencies. The administrator can delete unwanted clutter for unused definitions, however the referencing definitions can be invalidated rendering them unusable. EXTERNAL SYMPTOM CODE
