* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: WebSphere was not successfully          *
*                      reading a                               *
*                      PKCS7 certificate file when receiving   *
*                      a                                       *
*                      certificate from a CA.                  *
****************************************************************
* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
WebSphere was not properly reading a PKCS7 certificate file with
receiving a certificate from a Certificate Authority.  With the
com.ibm.websphere.security.ReceiveCertificate security custom
property set to true a certificate can be re-received from a
Certificate Authority.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Code modify to properly read a PKCS7 certificate file from a
Certificate Authority.  When the security custom property
com.ibm.websphere.security.ReceiveCertificate is set to true use
will be to allowed to re-receive a certificate from a Certificat
Authority (CA).

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in fix pack
8.5.5.19 and 9.0.5.7. For more information, see 'Recommended
