Error description

  • Before this fix, Db2 application cloning source job can end with
RC=8
and message CKZ64007E when cloned objects include indexes with
different target databases and keywords RECREATE-OBJECTS(A) and
AUTO-INDEXSPACE-TRANSLATE(N) are specified. After applying this
fix, indexes can be successfully cloned to a different target
databases when keywords RECREATE-OBJECTS(A) and
AUTO-INDEXSPACE-TRANSLATE(N) are specified.

Local fix

  • Use AUTO-INDEXSPACE-TRANSLATE(Y) in the source JCL job
