APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • For a task view, if a User Rule is added with the condition set
    to a field that is a multi-user field, then the change will not
    be saved.  In addition, any other changes to the rules made at
    the same time are also lost.
    
    
    
    Prerequisites:
    OpenPages 8.1.0.1 with standard test data
    
    Create a custom Task View:
    1.	Log in to OpenPages as OpenPagesAdministrator
    2.	In the Task UI, go to the gear menu, Manage Views
    3.	Click Add
    4.	Choose the object type as Issue, set the name to ?test?,
    leave Type as ?Task?, and choose Copy from view as ?Detail?
    5.	In the new view tab, click Publish to save the view
    
    
    
    Steps to Reproduce:
    1.	Log in to OpenPages as OpenPagesAdministrator
    2.	In the Task UI, go to the gear menu, Manage Views
    3.	Click the 3 dot menu for the new view ?test?
    4.	Click Edit
    5.	In the popup, click the Rules button
    6.	Scroll down to the bottom, and click User rule to add a new
    condition
    7.	Choose the field Assignees as the rule field condition:
    
    8.	Click Save
    9.	Open the Rules window again as you did before
    10.	Note that the condition is missing:

Problem conclusion

  • We made a change so that the workflow fields are filtered out
    and when you set a multi-user field as a user rule, it is saved.
    
    Customers should download OpenPages with Watson 8.2 Fix Pack 1
    (8.2.0.1). See the following document for details on obtaining
    OpenPages 8.2.0.1:
