    * RECOMMENDATION: Apply the maintenance for this APAR. *
    ****************************************************************
When active data sets of HALDB are A through J after HALDB
OLR is done, DB Sensor under IMS HP Image Copy refers inactive
data sets that are M through V and DB sensor process fails with
    message BBE1411E ( MSGBEP1411E ).

If entries of HALDB M through V data set exist in DBRC RECON
and available data sets are A through J, IMS HP Image Copy
pulls M through V data sets information from RECON even if they
not active. Then IMS HP Image Copy calls DB Sensor by using
inactive data sets. As the result, DB Sensor process tries to
check the catalog information of inactive data sets that has
been already deleted by OLR process. Then DB Sensor issues
the error message and Sensor records are not registered.

Problem conclusion

  • IMS HP Image Copy always pulls the active data sets information
of HALDB from RECON and calls DB Sensor with them.
