This APAR fixes various problems when running HDPC for a HALDB
that is composed of more than 255 DBDSs:
    - MSGFABP2053E is issued incorrectly when running HDPC with
TYPE=ALL on the PROC statement for image copies of a PHIDAM
that is composed of more than 255 DBDSs including PHIDAM
      primary indexes.
    - ABEND0C4 in the FABPMAIN or FABPSCTL module when running HDPC
with TYPE=SCAN on the PROC statement for image copies of a
PHIDAM that is composed of more than 255 DBDSs including
      PHIDAM primary indexes.
    - MSGFABP2050E is not issued under the following conditions
even though HDPC should issue it:
      - TYPE=ALL is specified on the PROC statement.
      - Multiple DATABASE statements for one HALDB are specified.
      - The BLOCKDUMP= parameter are specified on a part of the
        DATABASE statements.
    - The following HDPC reports are not printed. Regarding the
separator pages for HD Pointer Checker reports, they are not
printed even if SEP=YES on the PROC statement is specified.
      - Separator page for statistics report
      - Separator page for validation report
      - Legend for Scan and Validation report
    - MSGFABP3661E is issued incorrectly when IXKEYCHK=YES is
      specified.

Problem conclusion

  • HPPC has been modified to fix the errors.
