Error description

  • The Association Task View for selecting Objects does not display
the Public (or Private) filters in a user friendly way.

Two issues are identified with this:

    1.	If the number of available filters is too long, the UI
provides no method to scroll through them.
    2.	The maximum width of the displayed Filter names is too small
(16 characters) and should be wider.

Note: When hovering over a name of a Filter that is too long,
the system correctly popups up the full name.

    Workaround:

Zooming out can help display some more, but not really a
workaround if the list of filters is greater still.

    Prerequisites:

    1.	OpenPages 8.2 with Solutions.
    2.	A list of public filters for BE around 30.
    i.	Log into the Standard UI as OpenPagesAdministrator.
ii.	Create 30 uniquely named Public Filters for BE.
iii.	The selection criteria is immaterial; each can have a
simple select where name contains A.

    3.	Associate all 30 public filters to the OpenPages Modules
    Master profile.
    i.	Log into the Standard UI as OpenPagesAdministrator.
ii.	Associate all created Filters to the Modules Master Profile
from Settings > Profiles > SOXBusEntity > Associated Filters.

    Steps to Reproduce:

    1.	Log into the Task Focused UI (TFUI) as
    OpenPagesAdministrator.
    2.	Organization > Processes.
    3.	Add New > Select Primary Business Entity.
    4.	Click Filter icon to Filter available Parent Business
    Entities.
