*                      2. ABEND0C4-10 in CQCTTEX1+X'15EA'      *
*                      3. Abend0C4 in CQCMALOX if called from  *
*                      CQCMTPxx                                *

* RECOMMENDATION: APPLY the PTF.                               *

1. When MAXALLOCATION limit is hit, the attempt to drive ISM
abend exit was done but finished with ABEND0C4-4 due to lack
of memory.
2. ABEND0C4-10 in CQCTTEX1 happened after a bad return code
from an ISM storage call to house a piece of SQL text from a
parallel task.
3. CQCMTPxx routines did not pass the needed work area into
CQCMALOX which caused ABEND0C4.

Problem conclusion

  • 1. Logic was changed to use another storage subpool and to
release it.
2. logic was changed to process correctly the SQL texts of
parallel tasks.
3. CQCMTPxx routines are changed to pass that work area.
