Error description

• Apply receives sqlcode -551 on a Truncate operation when
  replicating data from z/OS to non z/OS target in a SQL
  Replication configuration.

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: 1- When you create or alter a           *
  *                      publication with delimited messages by  *
  *                      using the ASNCLP command-line program   *
  *                      in Event Publishing, the ASNCLP         *
  *                      program incorrectly allows you to       *
  *                      specify a BEFORE VALUES option of N     *
  *                      (no before values are sent). Before     *
  *                      values must be sent for delimited       *
  *                      messages, so the only valid option for  *
  *                      BEFORE VALUES is Y (yes).               *
  *                      2- Apply receives sqlcode -551 on a     *
  *                      Truncate operation when replicating     *
  *                      data from z/OS to non z/OS target in a  *
  *                      SQL Replication configuration.          *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  1- The ASNCLP program should check the specified BEFORE VALUES
  option and if the N option is specified issue an error message
  and not create the delimited publication.
  2- SQL Apply should tolerate any error when accessing the Db2
  catalog to determine if a TRUNCATE table should be performed.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1- With this fix, the ASNCLP program issues the ASN2019E error
  message if the N option is specified and does not create the
  publication.
  2- SQL Apply will perform a DELETE table when it fails to
  access the Db2 catalog for information required for target
  table processing.
  Note: ASNCLP has been updated from db2_v111m4fp6 n2008201900.
