  • Currently, the tasks sending and receiving replication data
using the TCP/IP API only report the overall use of CPU.  CPU
time should be further reported by open code or TCP/IP API, and
by sending and receiving requests.

A finer measure of the use of CPU time by tasks issuing TCP/IP
API requests is needed.

Problem conclusion

  • SMF record fields that measure the CPU time spent during
a send or receive TCP/API call are added to SMF records
written by InfoSphere CDC.
