Error description

  • Software Identification Tagging using swtag has been deprecated
and replaced with ISO 19770-2 tags. These should be in the
swidtag directory and are suffixed *.swidtag, but these files
were not found at that location.

Software Identification Tagging using swtag has been deprecated
and replaced with ISO 19770-2 tags (*.swidtag), but these files
were not included in the IHS archive installs.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The software ID tags for IHS are now included with IHS archives
under the swidtag directory of the IHS root directory. Note that
the postinstall script needs to be run for new installs or when
applying maintenance for the swidtag files to be updated and
available.

The fix for this APAR is targeted for inclusion in IBM HTTP Serv
fix pack 9.0.5.6. For more information, see 'Recommended Updates
