Error description

  • DB2 admin tool gets the following dialog error when using a
screen size 24x80 and entering the 'I' command for a view.
This occurs when using the enhanced view display.


Function : DISPLAY PANEL(&CPANEL)

Retcode  : 20

Zerrmsg  : ISPP121
Zerrsm   : Panel 'ADB21VVI' error
Zerrlm   : Panel definition too large, greater than screen size.

Local fix

  • There are two options,

1. Set Query type for views to S on panel ADB2P2 (option P.2
from main menu):

Query type for views . . . . . . . . S      (E-Enhanced or
S-Singular)

2.Change the screen size in the emulator to use 32x80.
