PH26914: A RARE TIMING CONDITION MAY LEAD TO THE FILE STORE STOPPING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A very rare timing condition exists where garbage collection
  may queue an abandoned user transaction for orphaned
  transaction clean-up during its completion.
  
  For this to happen, all user references to the transaction must
  be lost (a JVM that will implicitly and actively release the
  last reference to an object during method execution is needed)
  and garbage collection must be actively processing the
  transaction object at a precise point in the transaction
  completion code.
  
  
  The messaging engine will shut down following the logging of a
  CWSOM0100W warning, producing an FFDC for a
  NonExistentTransactionException and logging a CWSIS1590E error.
  
  It is important to note that the CWSOM0100W warning alone does
  not mean that this condition has or will be encountered.
